Vilas County Land & Water Conservation is holding its annual fall meeting on lake conservation on Thurs Oct 24th from 10 am-12:30 pm.
The purpose of this meeting is both to share what local groups and professionals are doing to conserve lakes in Vilas County, and to report on the AIS section of the Vilas County Invasive Species Strategic Management Plan. Public welcomed! This meeting typically draws about 40-50 lake organization reps, professionals, elected officials, and interested public. This year we’ll be accommodating for those who cannot be “up north” in late October by holding this meeting virtually.

Typically this meeting is held in Boulder Junction, but due to many years of several requests this year it will be virtual. This way those that do not stay in Vilas County during the fall can also participate. We plan to go back to in-person meetings next year.
