Attend a free workshop and learn how to use a Toolbox to help you protect your lake – without the cost of a consultant and lake management plan!
The workshop will take place on September 10 and 12 at the UW-Kemp Natural Resources Station in Woodruff.
The two-day event is designed to help participants develop customized action plans tailored to their specific lake or lake association. The workshop will cover:
- An overview of key limnological and ecological factors affecting lake health in the Northwoods
- Accessing and interpreting existing lake data and reports via WDNR data portals
- Facilitated discussions to identify lake-specific issues and create actionable strategies for stakeholders
We are especially looking to engage lake association members and stakeholders who can share the workshop outcomes with their respective associations. Participants should be comfortable using a laptop with Microsoft Office and be able to follow the online data acquisition process and share digital files.
