The 2025 six-county lakes & rivers meeting was held on July 11, 2025 at Nicolet College in Rhinelander. The annual event is jointly sponsored by the Oneida County Lakes and Rivers Association (www.oclra.org) and the Vilas County Lakes and Rivers Association (www.vclra.org). Our theme this year was Quakes to our Lakes – What’s Shakin’? Attendees learned about the threats shaking up our surface water health and the tools to use to fight those impacts. The event targets Forest, Iron, Lincoln, Langlade, Oneida and Vilas counties – but we welcome all water lovers to this free, annual event, and hope to see you next year.
